About Lehigh Regional Medical Center

Lehigh Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is accredited by The Joint Commission with the Gold Seal of Approval as an 88-bed acute-care facility. Committed to compassionate care, Lehigh Regional Medical Center has uniquely served its five-county community in Lehigh Acres, Florida, since 1965.

The state-of-the-art facility provides primary and specialty care services that include Emergency Services, Cardiology, Critical Care, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pathology, Pulmonology, Wound Care, and Women’s Health. We deliver patient-centered healthcare with dignity and respect for all.

Surgeons at Lehigh Regional Medical Center are board certified and the Surgical Services Department houses three operating rooms, and a recently expanded endoscopy suite.

The Joint Academy offers a unique joint replacement program that focuses on education and rehabilitation in a group environment.

The Emergency Department at Lehigh Regional Medical Center features eight state-of-the-art treatment bays, all equipped for bedside registration. A board-certified emergency physician staffs the emergency department 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, Fast Track services are available for non-emergency "doctor-office" type care. The team ensures that patients in our Emergency Department will be seen and evaluated by a nurse immediately upon arrival before any registration paperwork is done.

The Hyperbaric Medicine Center will reopen soon; it is a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with hyperbaric chambers, and it will provide comprehensive treatment options to assist in the healing of chronic, non-healing wounds.
