Lehigh Regional Medical Center is an 88-bed facility located in Lehigh
Acres, Florida, and we are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations. Lehigh Regional Medical Center serves a five-county area.
The medical staff at Lehigh Regional Medical Center provides prompt, compassionate
care. Our active physicians are trained in internal medicine, emergency
medicine,anesthesiology and pain management, cardiology, critical care,
gastroenterology, gynecology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pathology,
podiatry, pulmonology, and radiology.
Surgeons at Lehigh Regional Medical Center are board certified and the
Surgical Services Department houses three operating rooms, and a recently
expanded endoscopy suite.
The Joint Academy offers a unique joint replacement program that focuses
on education and rehabilitation in a group environment.
The Emergency Department at Lehigh Regional Medical Center features eight
state-of-the-art treatment bays, all equipped for bedside registration.
A board-certified emergency physician staffs the emergency department
24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, Fast Track services are
available for non-emergency "doctor-office" type care. The team
ensures that patients in our Emergency Department will be seen and evaluated
by a nurse immediately upon arrival before any registration paperwork is done.
The Hyperbaric Medicine Center will reopen soon; it is a state-of-the-art
facility, equipped with hyperbaric chambers, and it will provide comprehensive
treatment options to assist in the healing of chronic, non-healing wounds.
