Lehigh Regional Introduces Living with Loss Support Group

Lehigh Acres, Florida (August 29, 2012 by Diann Cimring) - Pastor Jason Phillips, the Lehigh Regional Medical Center Chaplain, announced that he will be introducing a new group to provide support and guidance to people in our community who have experienced a loss. Loss is not just the loss of a loved one or family member, but rather the loss of any important part of your life.

“The loss of a loved one can be one of the most difficult things we deal with in our lives and having the comfort of being with others who are also experiencing loss can be the difference between moving forward with one’s life and being stuck and not being able to move past the loss.” Said Jason Phillips. “I am very pleased that we will be providing this important support to the Community”

The Living with Loss groups are open to the public. If you have experienced a loss and are suffering, this may be an opportunity for you to begin the healing process. The group will meet at 10 am on  the first Tuesday of every month in the Meeting Room on the first floor of Lehigh Regional Medical Center in Lehigh Acres. Refreshments will be provided by the hospital.
