Your physician may have chosen to utilize LRMC's Hospitalist Service as an extension of his/her office. In this case, your care while in the hospital will be managed by a physician who specializes in taking care of hospitalized patients. After you are discharged, you will return to the care of your regular primary care physician. All of our Hospitalists are board certified physicians who specialize in the care of pulmonary, critical care and hospital patients.
