Dear Mr. Morillo

I am writing to you concerning your hospital Lehigh Regional Medical Center.  On September 17th of this year, my mother flew from her home here in east Tennessee to Lehigh Acres to visit a friend who had been in the state of Florida a couple of months due to a death in her family.  My mother was off the plane for less than 2  hours before she fell in a local restaurant where she broke her leg in four places.  The ambulance transported her to your hospital where it was decided that she would need to be admitted and surgery would need to be performed to repair her leg.  To say the least, my father and I were very concerned about her well being since she was almost 900 miles away from home.  I boarded a plane the next morning and was able to get to the hospital before my mother was taken into surgery.
My mother and I were visitors to your hospital for 5 days before she was transported to a local rehab facility.  Each day I was very impressed by the level of care that my mother received during her stay.  I can tell you that I have visited several hospitals in TN and have never seen one with the courteous and caring staff as I saw at your hospital.  Everyone that entered the room, from the doctors, nurses, therapists, down to the cleaning staff, always called her by her first name and each and every person that walked through her door was very sensitive to her needs and care.  I never had to ask more than once for anything for my mother and nurses were in and out of her room on a constant basis.  Needless to say, I was very impressed with the level of care there.  Please take the time to thank your staff for the care my mother received during her time in Florida.  I am positive that she was in the best place at the time and we would have not seen the level of care she received, here in TN had she fallen closer to home.  Be very proud of the service your facility provides, I consider it to be exceptional.
Again, thank you for the service that your center provides to each and every patient that comes through your door, no matter where they are from.
