Will you lend your hearts and hands? LRMC looking for volunteers

Lehigh Regional Medical Center is seeking volunteers for its new program: Hearts and Hands of LRMC.

The hospital’s auxiliary program started in 1965, and throughout the years, participants from the area have donated their time to work in variety of settings including the hospital’s front desk, gift shop and waiting room, among others.

Hearts and Hands of LRMC gives the community the opportunity to be a part of patient care by providing listening, caring assistance and by being a bridge between patients/families and the staff dedicated to their healthcare.  Some of the activities the volunteer will perform include offering a prayer, holding hands & listening (share, chat), playing a game of cards, reading a book and offering assistance with some personal care needs such as makeup or painting of finger nails.

If you love to help others and are willing to lend your heart and hands, please call John or Denise at 239-368-4505 or 239-368-4506
