Job Description
Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures. Utilizes accepted quality control techniques for manual, semi-automated, or automated methodologies and equipment. Performs phlebotomy procedures and assists in other laboratory activities as needed. Performs Section Head Duties when assigned. The Medical Technologist is competent in providing direct care to patients within the following age brackets: pediatrics, adolescents, adults.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent required and a BS degree in Medical Technology with proper certification by the State of Florida, Board of Registry (ASCP) or NCA, AMT or equivalent is required. and geriatrics.
