Chris Rakunas, MBA

Chief Executive Officer

Chris Rakunas joined Lehigh Regional Medical Center as the Chief Operating Officer in the summer of 2008.  Originally from ‘the other L.A.’ Mr. Rakunas is a native Californian.  He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and began his career in the pharmaceutical industry.  After working in global operations and strategic marketing for Johnson and Johnson, he moved back to his native Los Angeles to finish an MBA at the University of Southern California where he graduated on the Dean’s List.

 

Mr. Rakunas has previously worked at Physicians Regional Healthcare System, another HMA hospital, in Naples, Florida.
